When you think that things just cannot get any worse here in America, you realize that they absolutely can on November 5th, Election Night 2024. The dreaded day when we will learn just who the Electoral College and wealthy campaign financiers will allow this country to have as our President again. Will it be Biden or Trump? We already know that they will not allow a 3rd party candidate to be the first snowball in hell to survive, so it is down to some sort of repeat of what we have already had, and the outcome will affect more than just Americans.

Will you put your money on the Scorpio, Biden, or the Gemini, Trump? Strictly speaking I would choose the Scorpio because they are at least theoretically capable of great depth of feeling somewhere in their makeup. I know what you are thinking. Show me where the depth of feeling was when Scorpio funded and supported two ghastly wars that have affected the entire planet one way or another. Why not choose the Gemini instead? Well, I cannot in all good conscience do that when it was the Gemini who thought it would be a good idea to inject ourselves with bleach to get rid of Covid 19, he believes that the fictional character of Hannibal Lecter was a great man, and reportedly said that we should drop a bomb inside the eye of a hurricane.  I watched the Presidential Debate last night and I can tell you that my money is still on the Scorpio, Joe Biden, for reasons that may be viewed differently by others, but they are valid ones for me. 

These are dreadful times in America. I wish that I could say that they are recent developments here, but they truly are not. I have never seen any US President in my life do everything that they could have to solve the many problems that we have here. It takes a large amount of ego and high self esteem to motivate a person to run for the highest level job in the country. Anyone who is sure enough of theirself to run for the office is usually going to carry that belief in their ability into every decision that they make, and this is nearly always a recipe for an exaggerated response to any challenge to their superiority and authority, hence, the largest likelihood for a screw up is usually going to come in their decisions concerning foreign policy. I am rarely 

surprised at how easily our government gets us into wars. Biden has proven to be no exception to that. And while it pains me to see the tragedy that so many people are experiencing right now for that reason, I cannot look at that continuation of an ego centric mindset that happens to come with the territory to base my final thoughts on their reality as a whole person. 

In a previous post on this blog, I wrote about how to know what kind of character a person running for a political office is likely to have based on when they were born. In another post, I spoke about how Biden - Uncle Joe - really needed our help to deal with the fallout from the previous administration. To know astrology is to know that people are capable of great things and capable of terrible things at the same time. Each of us has to struggle with this duality in our nature but a large percentage of us don’t know, don’t understand, and don’t care to develop ourselves in the best ways to stay in balance with our inborn capabilities. I don’t expect that we will ever see a lot of altruistic behavior in a person who has very high career aspirations because the traits necessary to ascend to that do not include Mother Teresa like attributes. The one thing that I would always look for first in any political candidate is their capacity for empathy, and that will nearly always lead you to the Water signs. Most of our previous presidents have been Fire signs and Air signs. I would never say that they are unqualified to lead because they certainly can be, but the way that humanity has fallen off a cliff and descended in to hatred and barbarism in this century calls for emotional depth, understanding of human needs, and the ability to address the issues that have become alarmingly critical when people abandon their willingness to care for and understand the basic needs to sustain life to the point of denying us shelter, food, and healthcare. What are these particular times in human existence calling out for?

Are things so good for us that we should be focused on creating more ways to keep and maintain our finances and infrastructure? If they are, then I would be looking for the kind of people who tend to do well in that area. If there is illness and poverty (such as during the pandemic) I would look for those who tend more toward organization and sympathy for the sick. When I look at the differences between Scorpio and Gemini for the times that we are experiencing right now I am going to look toward Scorpio for the ability to “feel” the suffering of the people. There will be other times to come when Gemini’s abilities might be called for, but I don’t see that in 2024. I cannot say that Scorpio will hit the mark and do the right thing for struggling Americans every time. In fact, I know they won’t.  But I can recall many times during Biden’s term as President when he thought of the needs of the people when leaders before him couldn’t be bothered.

In the Book of Revelation in the Bible they talk about a future time which will be “the beginning of sorrows." I don’t know exactly when that started here but I can tell you that it has been going on for some time now. I can see no end to these sorrows for us because a change for the better would require a radical change in the way people think. When people believe that they are superior and entitled to a high standard of living at the expense of others whom they deem to be of lesser value it is not possible to rid the world of sorrow and pain.  This seems to be a lesson that many would like to delete from the human curriculum. Nobody has ever accomplished creating a balance in America between the haves and have nots in my lifetime, but I truly have seen times in the past when things were better than they are now. I will always be looking for that in this country, but it would require more of us to want it. So, I still stand with the Water sign that we now have because I still believe that this is badly needed.

I can tell you that I surely would love to be somewhere besides here when it all comes down in November but that just isn’t in the cards for me when you consider that it would cost a fortune to pick up stakes and just move around the corner now. As hard as I try, I cannot think of a country in the world where there isn’t as much or more trouble than there is here at the present time, and I really don’t know of any who would look favorably at another immigrant trying to cross their border, legally or not, even if I had the ability to leave. 

So, I know that the political volcano is about to blow here if we aren’t prepared to stop it.  There are 169 actual volcanos in America with the majority of them being in Alaska and Hawaii. The likelihood of all of them erupting at the same time is extremely unlikely, but what we will inherit from a replay of the previous administration will devastate this country as surely as if all 169 of them blew simultaneously. The fallout from a long history of mistakes and bad decisions from our government is already spewing out the molten ash of their poor choices so it is just a matter of time before we are all totally covered in it. I say all of us, but there will be some very rich and powerful elitists who will run like rabbits with all of their ruinous ideals intact to other countries, probably yours, if the political tide doesn’t turn to their liking, and they will start fresh new corruptions there. I would heartily suggest that you turn those refugees away at the border. Just take a look at how they will have left America looking like the battle of Armageddon the day after. We have many big troubles erupting all over the world right now but the choices that we have to lead us for another four years come down to Water and Air again. While it is unlikely that any human being can come in and save the day across the board for us, I believe in staying with the family the way it is right now because jumping ship in the middle of a storm is a dangerous thing to do when the captain of the other ship has already shown that he has no reservations about throwing people overboard on a whim and cannot be bothered to give a life preserver to anyone who is sinking as a result of his one sided policies that favor those who don’t even need help. If the volcano does blow in that direction, I don’t think that we have a prayer.

You can spend the rest of your life looking for that perfect person to lead the world to peace and prosperity for all but ultimately your only choices are going to be flawed human beings who may or may not have the capability to accomplish it. We may not have much of a say in the outcome in November but most of us cannot leave here even if our country appears to be a sinking ship. The best we can do is vote for the person who at least has it in him to change his mind about some things when he sees that he could possibly have been wrong about a few of them. 

Know Your Candidate and Know Yourself

The US midterm elections are behind us now except for a few that were too close to call. Did the candidate that you supported win? I hope so. Have you ever voted for someone who was elected and discovered after a time that they were not what you expected them to be? Unfortunately, many people lie and cheat when they want something badly. Nowadays they feel little guilt or remorse for this because it is acceptable character in some circles and even expected by some others. Another problem that we have is that many voters will pick a candidate to support based on one ideal that the person has put out there which has little to do with whether or not the candidate is a sound and reasonable person who is capable of doing the job that he/she is running for and more to do with their promise to do away with an influence that people find personally objectionable. This is a selfish and lame reason to do anything, but it is an acceptable one for a person of one dimensional thought. Once you allow yourself to get caught up in a fear and hate based mentality you are not capable of making choices other than selfish ones. So, the rest of us carry the burden of trying to elect someone who is sincere and focused in their beliefs and has some sort of proven record to support the claims that they make regarding how to repair a broken society. But even if we think we know a person to be reasonable and true to form in their decisions it is still possible that they are lying through their teeth. Since you cannot be sure of anyone until they prove that they are what they say, you take an uneducated guess most of the time. Unless you know Astrology.

In two years, we will have another general election for the Presidency. God only knows who will be running for that office this time. Many will throw their hats into the ring and the BS will be flying for many months before we actually know who the final contenders will be. I actually expect to be disappointed in who will make it to the finals. This is not cynicism on my part. It is just facing the reality that my point of view is unique among Americans and what I see as someone who truly means to bring change to a fallen society has different aspects and criteria from the majority point of view. Since I became old enough to vote I have seen few people enter the White House that I had any faith in to make a real difference. The way that we conduct elections and politics here is not conducive to bringing in anyone that I could really believe in. The one exception to that is Bernie Sanders.

I truly believe that Bernie could have won in 2016 and in 2020. But he was sabotaged by his own party both times because reform is not what they want. Maintaining the status quo is. Bernie made an excellent showing in both primaries, and though I do not always agree with everything that he says and does (I usually do, though) I have studied his natal chart and it is evident from knowing what he was brought into this world with that he is true to himself. I have watched and listened to him since I first became aware of him politically and he has never wavered in what he presents to us as what is needed here. I cannot say that about any other career politician that I have ever seen.

I have heard people who actually like Bernie say things like, “He is just not everyone’s cup of tea.” and “He doesn’t show enough of himself personally. He only talks about the issues.” These people are showing the shallowest points of view regarding Bernie. It is not surprising that they can only skim the surface. If you don’t know his inborn nature you will likely misjudge him, as you will with anyone. In 2016 and in 2020 I wrote about Bernie on this blog. He is a Virgo. Do you know anything about Virgos? Probably not. So, I will tell you this as something to ponder upon.

In the 1960’s there was a tv series called “Dragnet” starring Jack Webb who played the character Sgt. Joe Friday. He was a no-nonsense police officer who was famous for saying the line, “Just the facts, ma’am.” That is pretty much how a Virgo operates. They are precise and have little time for or interest in side issues and telling the world about their personal lives. It has nothing to do with “the price of potatoes” or the fact that America is in the outhouse, so in Virgo’s view it has no bearing on “the facts, ma’am.” If being focused and direct is not something that you like or understand then you will never “get” someone like Bernie. To truly know a Virgo, you would have to make the effort to be their friend. They mostly do not have any burning desire to tell their story. If you prefer the more “stand out” types or the folksy “regular guy” types there is a reason for that and you are entitled to your opinion, but the problems that we have now will not be solved by anyone who craves attention and love, and needs a constant ego boost. Nor can they be solved by the phony “I’m just like you” types.  Anyone who cannot set aside ego and transcend the need for admiration cannot be effective when we are in such dire circumstances. I have heard people say many times that we need a president who will run this country like a business. We had that kind of leader for four years and we will be trying to untangle the mess that was made in those years for many more years to come. High profits, competition, and the need for worship from people are traits for the entertainment industry and private businesses. We aren’t making a movie here or trying to sell yachts. The entire world is in crisis and like in any family in crisis it will take an adult who can set aside their personal ego to get down to the real business of keeping the family together and disregarding what the neighbors think. I have seen a few politicians who could do that but they are in a minority.

I have considered writing a book or a series of posts here about the Presidents that we have had in the last 30 or so years by drawing up their natal charts and comparing what traits they were born with and what they actually accomplished when they were in office. It might be quite an eye opener of a read. I do think that it would be a troubling read. So many of us have no idea what we were meant to be like. Our world has evolved in ways that make knowing our true selves difficult in the extreme. Most people are doomed to fail in the endeavor because of capitalism. It takes an Aries-like determination on our parts to even make the attempt but it could be made a little less painful for us if we had parents and teachers who believe that this is an essential goal. If you have that in your life, count your blessings.

Before the next election, take some time to find out when the candidates were born. Look on the internet for an Astrology website that can calculate a chart on their birthdates. This is a very elementary way of doing it and I would not normally recommend it, but you will do far worse in trying to understand what a person is about if you rely on what they say or rely on news that cannot be trusted because it isn’t news, it is profit driven entertainment. You may be greatly surprised by what you learn. While you are there, take a look at your own birth information. The revelation of what you brought with you into this world can be felt on a soul level when you see it. It can also be vehemently denied if you have never been allowed to express it. But a staunch denial is extremely telling in itself. Take what you learn and use it to the best of your ability. It may change your life.

It Has Everything To Do With What Will Work

Four years ago, I wrote a post here about Senator Bernie Sanders when I learned that he was going to run for President. (see my post for May 08, 2015) I used information based on his astrological chart to try to present a profile of how he most likely came to the decision to run for that office and why he was a very good choice for America. Bernie did not make it to the Democratic pick in 2016, but now that he is trying again for 2020, I would like to reiterate everything that I wrote previously and add to it as best I can, with some advice that comes from the heart and soul and the universe.  I hope that this will find its way to him if it is the will of the cosmos. 

There is a television show called The New Yankee Workshop starring Norm Abram, which can be seen on the PBS website and probably other venues, where Norm takes you through the steps of building beautiful pieces of furniture and other wood décor. Even if you know that you could never build as expertly as Norm can, you still love watching the show because you can appreciate the handiwork of someone who is creative and experienced, and seeing it all come together is a marvelous thing. If it is possible, I think that Bernie should consider producing a video which details step-by-step how he will build America in to a nation that will care for its people and promote the positive changes for us that we can only have if more of us understand the steps necessary to build that from the ground (Which we are sitting at.  I would really hate to believe that we can sink any lower.) up.

I live in a part of the country that is called a “Red State”, which means that the majority of our citizens vote Republican.  This is a real head-scratcher when you consider that a large portion of the people here live at or below what is considered to be “poverty level.” So many of the people here may have their smart phones and computers and even toddlers are tech savvy (How these people afford them is even more of a head-scratcher!) but when it comes to recognizing when they are being cheated and lied to by bureaucrats and the affluent, they have a gigantic mental block as big as the Great Wall Of China. Why this is so can possibly be explained by taking a look at a society in the television series Star Trek. 

There is a race of humanoid type beings in the Star Trek world called Ferengi, from the planet Ferenginar. They are racist, sexist, and practiced rampant capitalism for centuries. They did not recognize where this would eventually lead them until the entire society collapsed.  Their thinking was that monied interests and those who prospered in that were the highest level of beings.  It was never questioned as being wrong when they all aspired to be exactly like that. It is this same mentality that I think drives so many Americans to vote against their own best interests and follow the Pied Piper of wealth because they cannot believe that there is any reason for human existence other than to strive for the American Dream.  Those who have already achieved it are the gods that we worship. Life is hard. And it is damn hard when you live in the rural south. Those who have made it to wealth and recognition must be the only people capable of running the country.  Add in to this a belief in that “old time religion” which deplores anything that is not in the gospels, and a general fear of anything that you don’t understand (as in words like Socialism) and you have a society that will choose to hate change every time, because they are not learning not to. This is where we need to insert a YouTube or Netflix video called The New Yankee Socialist. 

I can only use the word Socialist here in this blog in my own home because it can get you into serious trouble if you say it publicly anywhere else.  The word has a long association with societies that will take away all of your freedoms and give a forum to all of those people who dare to believe in something different and difficult to understand.  So, I didn’t say it.  You didn’t read it here.  Only someone like Bernie Sanders can get away with it, sort of.

The thing that I find most troubling when Senator Sanders talks about the plan he has for making the United States a better place is that he hesitates when he is asked about how he will bring about the necessary changes that will give Americans a better standard of living and take us in to a new era of prosperity and more equality for all.  I can understand why he does this.  Just mention the words “new taxes” and people start freezing up and tuning out. Say the word “Socialism” and they think that you intend to send the military to their house and take away their belongings.  Mind closed, case closed. Reaching these people is a tough order because they can walk away and recover from the bad words by tuning in to the prophets of doom tv networks and internet social sites that are all too happy to keep supporting the myths that they are comfortable with.  It is difficult to show your blueprints for the future when you can only preach to the choir in short speeches made in a grueling schedule of touring quickly through many American cities. You will not reach enough of the Ferengi and the “Red State wonders” until you put your plans on paper and show the building process to them step by step.  

A video in a place like YouTube is more likely to capture the attention of these types because anyone that is capable of hearing will share it with others in a way that your speech in South Carolina will not reach.  This is nothing that you don’t already know, but there are many others who have taken your ideas and are promoting them as their own now.  I do not see any of them trying to reach out to those whom they believe are not going to listen in the first place. The only ones who are really listening are those who already believe in your philosophy.  Like on the New Yankee Workshop, show the finished product first, then show the blueprints for making it a reality.  You will have to explain that you join this piece with another piece and you glue this piece with taxes which you collect by exchanging money now being spent on something that you will not have to pay again once you put your program into place.  Senator Sanders, I have been a supporter of yours since the first time that I saw you speak about equality and inequality on MSNBC many years ago and even though I understand where you are coming from and how your vision for America would make an incredible difference, I do not see how these changes are truly possible in a country that doesn’t want to know about anything that might require them to get off their backsides and view the world differently.  

I am familiar with the philosophy of Marx, and Engels, and others who have tried to champion a more balanced world for everyone.  I want to see you succeed where so many others have failed but I have to tell you that unless and until you can give the ones who don’t really have a clue how it can benefit them from where they sit, the “Red State” voters will keep turning a blind eye. I believe that you need to reach those who cannot yet see but may be able to hear that you have a plan that truly is for all of us.  Right now, they are content to hear that no one other than they deserve to do well.  They cannot see that this mentality is what is causing them to pay higher prices for basic human necessities and keeps them in a constant state of fear about losing what they have. We need to see the video because too many will not read the book.  If their children and neighbors and co-workers see the film and share the experience online it may spark an interest in hearing for themselves. Even those of us who already believe would love to see how you will put everything together. I have seen staunch Republicans admit that they would gladly pay more taxes and give up something that they have so people that they care about can afford to buy food and medicines and see a doctor when they are sick.  In groups, you never hear this, but one on one it does happen.  Just like deciding to watch an episode of the New Yankee Workshop because you have nothing pressing to do, you are probably very sure that you could never make a china cabinet or a sideboard, you might tune in and watch an episode just to pass the time.  You might see or hear something from Norm that would make you believe that the project is possible. 

It is also likely that you, Senator Sanders, will show a step in the process that can make someone believe that your plan for the future can work. If I were a filmmaker, I would volunteer to do the work of getting this project out to the people.  Your ideas for building a better country are the best that I have seen.  I believe from preparing your birth chart that you have the ability to make a miracle in America, but you need to help us help you.  Once we see the blueprints and can visualize the finished product, it is possible that even the “Red State” people, fearful as they are, could believe in the project coming together. We just need to see someone else do it first, like Norm Abram shows us.  Independence Day is proof positive that change can happen when people decide that they have had enough of tyranny. I write on this blog and send it out there in hopes that it will inspire someone to discover their god given potential and make a difference through behavior true to what they were born to be.  You can show us what a society that aspires to be better and more inclusive looks like, and how you can lead us to that ultimate goal. 

And for the record, the Ferengi were able to put their society back together by implementing Socialist ideals.

When The Wind Changes

In the 1940’s, renowned prophet Edgar Cayce warned us to be watching carefully what would happen to the USSR because its fate would also be the fate of the United States.  It has now been 25 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union and if you don’t see the winds of change upon us in this country you are surely not paying much attention.  Our new president-elect is about to prove to us and the rest of the planet just how his new direction plans may blow us all to kingdom come.

The world is in more danger of collapsing in on itself in 2017 than it has ever been before, but the consequences of that danger will not be confined to America alone.  We have in place now the probability of going insane and taking many others with us. To prepare for this impending storm it is imperative that we act for the protection of our own in much the way that we would if we were told that a tornado or a tsunami or a hurricane was hurling toward us. As much as we might love and care for others on the planet we are not in a position to protect anyone other than those in our own circle.  This means that we must be completely clear about our priorities and what we can and cannot do.  I have to assume that if you are reading this blog and have taken the necessary steps to know yourself and what you are capable of, as in going back to your past and discovering the true you, you are capable of managing what the universe is about to send your way.  The time for ego and vanity is past and if you are still hanging on to the shallow things that distract you from doing what you came here to do, I am urging you not to wait another second before you set those traits in you aside because they can only harm you now.  You might realize just how alone you really are in making the best life for yourself when you see how many of the entertainment icons we have lost in just the past year.  Many of us have depended on the wonderful distraction of music and films to help us escape a depressing and scary world.  Losing the people who have provided such escapism for us is a painful reminder of how fragile our sense of well being truly is when it comes from outside ourselves.

The United States has a presence of one sort of another in almost every country in the world.  When the shockwaves hit I can only speculate what kind of effect they will have on people outside of this country. The president-elect has already been laying the groundwork for the toppling of our way of life and system of government.  Not that these things did not need to change, they did, but their death was not the solution.  Key cabinet appointees are tending to be people who have been against the ways and policies of the very posts that they will hold.  Though one cannot be totally sure what that will mean to the protections that are now in place such as the EPA and those who will represent us in foreign policy matters, you can be sure that with the current climate of mistrust that exists between the US and others, there is a shift coming that is going to poison the wells of many. 

The time has passed for lamenting what might have been, could have been or should have been.  This is what we got.  The warnings of the universe have been out there for a long time.  Too many did not heed them and this is the result.  There were 3 candidates for us to choose from in this country but each of them carried with them an outcome that would have at some point produced the same result; the end of the world as we know it. Hillary Clinton would have fought to keep the status quo and ushered in more of the same.  Bernie Sanders would have fought to bring about the kind of change that might have given us more balance, but (as was the case in the Soviet Union) peace and a more balanced way of thinking is not something that those in power would tolerate, as they would have much to lose if things got better.

Anger and blame and aggression will not help us now.  The best that we can do as citizens who want to survive is stay the hell out of the way.  Keep your own counsel and protect what you need to.  Trying to shift the blame and destroy others benefits nothing and no one.   This is a storm that is bound to cause some damage, but it is the only way to purge us from the elements that have brought us to this point in the first place.  Sometimes you just have to let the bullies prevail so that they may destroy themselves when they assume that they have been victorious.  When there is a 30 car pile-up on the motorway ahead of you, you know that you need to take an alternate route. Better yet, stay off the road entirely, if you can.  If you don’t have your safe spot in place yet, do it now because it is the only thing that you can do when the universe speaks in a thunderous voice to get the hell out of the line of fire!

Watch and listen carefully. Universal knowledge is the only thing that you have now to protect yourself in the coming cataclysms.  It is not my intent to sound like Chicken Little here and proclaim that the sky is falling, but if you have been listening and paying attention at all to your inner connection, I haven’t said anything here that you don’t already know or at least suspect.  Stay in the trenches.  This is a battle to do away with greed and selfishness and all of those things that have turned us into the hateful society that we are.  Get out of the way while these things get put to death.  Do not assume that as they get worse it means the destroyers will prevail.  What it does mean is that we must see it for all that it is in Technicolor or we will continue to feed the monster.

That you have visited your past and seen your future is your only defense against this war of the world.  Pray that the bringers of hell will only destroy themselves in the end.  You must survive to help pick us up again.

America Draws the (Trump) Tower Card

Nobody wants to see the Tower card come up in a tarot reading, but there are times when it is the only thing that can come when there is a dire need for change and we will not get up off our asses and do what is necessary to bring it about.  For those of us who read the universe as a way of life, there was no doubt that this country had it coming but it is painfully plain that a large portion of the American populace (and perhaps the world) did not see the Tower building up to explode. 

So many revelations came out of the weeks and months prior to the final election on November 8.  Many of them were given to us by Julian Assange (God bless him!) and WikiLeaks.  There are those who do not want to know the extent of how devious and underhanded some people and institutions are but they play a fools game by wanting to remain ignorant, or at least wanting the American people to remain so.  Thank you, Julian, for allowing us to see, some of the truth.  It pains me greatly that WikiLeaks is always dangerously close to the chopping block by what they do.  I wonder if we would ever know the extent of how low those in power can go if not for a few brave souls who risk it all and give up so much to reveal what others would keep covered until their death to prevent us from knowing what is really going on.  The universe does provide a great many things to help us on our journeys, individually and collectively if we are capable of paying attention to something other than egotistical pursuits.  We did have help seeing the Democratic side of the Tower build up, but Donald Trump was more than willing to expose his own contributions freely to the ways in which America is in the outhouse.  The reveal was painful to see and hear but it is a fact that we were deluding ourselves if we really thought that humanity was doing better than his speech and behavior revealed to us.

I am not here today to trash talk Trump or Clinton.  Others are doing an excellent job of that without my help.  On the contrary, I am extremely grateful to both of them for letting us know how truly bad off we are because there would never be any attempt to fix these incredible problems that we have if they had not been displayed for us in living color.

The divisions in belief in America have finally been recognized and are being analyzed to death at the moment but it was desperately needed.  It remains to be seen if we are the kind of people who will be able to pick up the shattered pieces of the Tower that has exploded all to hell in front of our faces and rebuild something from it that will be a positive for all.  It has to start with the individual, though.  Individual responsibility is truly the only way that there can ever be change that will help us come together and put those positives that we learn in our soul to beneficial use.  Donald Trump may be the person that we have elected to lead the country but it is no secret now that no matter what he says he is not in possession of solutions that will make a better world.  We just had to know what his contribution to the rest of the Tower reading was going to challenge us with. It is up to us to understand that it took a very large percentage of people to get us where we are right now and our president-elect is only a part of the equation in fixing a society that has its head screwed on backwards when it comes to making a world that will peacefully accommodate all of the diverse people and attitudes that make up our country.  Once again, it will be a call to the past to discover our future.  We have to travel back to the time when we didn’t feel this much hate and intolerance if we ever hope to rid ourselves of it.  It may look like an impossible task, and for some, it probably is, but it doesn’t take an Einstein to recognize that we are in serious trouble as a species and our names now appear on the endangered list.  If we continue to carry the kind of intolerance and vicious attitudes toward others that we have been shown exists not just in the everyday people of this nation but all the way to the top of the ruling class, it is apparent that those who tell us that they are fit to lead are definitely not, and it is up to the rest of us to show to everyone that we got the Tower’s message and are ready to redirect our individual energies toward a positive, even if those who will represent us may not have that capability at present without being shown a better way.   However we feel about the outcome of the election it will be necessary to set aside the negatives in order to find positives if we truly want them.

The Reality of The Damned

My sister is dying.  She has chosen to spend the remainder of her time on earth to blame, bully, and emotionally destroy anyone whom she perceives to still have a future and be capable of happiness. This is not really new behavior for her.  She has always been an extremely jealous and petty bully of a person, but one always hopes (at least I do) that a person faced with the inevitability of their own mortality will awaken to the truths in life that can encourage us to make our peace with what our life has been and possibly set right those things that they can before it is too late.  My sister is not one of those people.

I actually have witnessed this kind of behavior before in an employer of mine who was dying of cancer some years ago.  Once the diagnosis was made, he fought his battle with chemotherapy, false bravado, and abusive language and behavior to anyone who got close enough to get bullied.  It was not like that with everyone, though.  Many people who really did not mean anything to him were treated with a philosophical demeanor and a calm assurance that he trusted in god to know what was best. 

Forget what you have seen in films and read in books about people coming to terms with the end of life and doing their best to make amends where needed and make sure that everyone close to them knows that they are loved and cherished even until the end. 

We are experiencing the death of another sort in the world right now.  It is the death of kindness and community.  It is the death of close personal relationships which have been replaced by a virtual reality communication with others where we are not required to invest any more of ourselves in than the internet requires of us. It has absolved us of any responsibility toward another human being as far as acting on our best behavior to sustain the relationship/friendship.  Bullying and hatefulness have no consequences attached to them and we can blame everyone else on the planet for the multitude of problems that are plaguing us as a society.  There is no one to stop us from demanding our personal rights or pushing out the rights of others whom we disagree with.  This truly is the behavior of the dying, but it is the death of the world as we know it.  It is also the death of so many people who are innocent of the forces that brought it upon us. To assume that we can change it now is folly because there are not enough of us who care.

The coming election here in the U.S. has given us three choices (that is, until the final candidates are chosen).  We have one candidate that wants to see the world come back from all of the past mistakes of former administrations and share in the endeavor to make it a world that all can live with and benefit from.  There is another candidate who will make sure that all of the elements that went in to the destruction that we are now living with stay firmly in place so that the status quo can continue on its merry way making obscene amounts of money at the expense of the rest of us. And then there is the candidate who is mad as hell and sure that the solution is in their hands with more bullying and a fight to the death with any person or place who might believe differently.  It is a scenario for failure no matter who wins this election because the majority of Americans are not on the same page on any of the issues that are destroying us.  They are not even reading the same book!  Heaven help us.  We are much too far gone to come out of this.  It would require a unity of the people that no longer exists except in small pockets.  If you find yourself in one of those small pockets and wonder how in the world you can make any difference in the last days of human existence you can stop wondering.  You cannot do anything outside of yourself.  We are now in a position where it is too late for most people to turn back the clock and go back to the past.  You only have control of your own reactions now.  While the rest of the world is realizing that they are close to death they are fighting tooth and nail to make sure that others who dare try to make peace and work toward a future will fail.  Those who have not yet realized that there is an end to everything at some point are playing the fiddle while humanity burns, but understand that there is a great majority who do see the end coming and are hell bent on punishing everyone that they can for it.

If you are one of the few who still cares about life and having the best quality of life possible for yourself, your loved ones, and all people of good heart, you may be wondering why you should bother when you are in such a minority and the world seems doomed to die.  Truly, it is only feasible if you believe that you are here for a reason and that what you do now at this most critical time has a purpose.  For the past two years I have been writing this blog with the hope and prayer that anyone reading it will find their true self somewhere in these words and look to the truth of what they are to make right what may be wrong and in need of correction for  their own survival.  Those who are truly dying want you die along with them  and are making these times as difficult as possible for all so they will not feel so bad about their own demise if they can force you to experience it, too.  It is a bit like the fall of Pompeii.  Very few people survived the volcano erupting. So few were capable of receiving the call from the universe to flee. People now are not capable of hearing the call to remove themselves from the danger and hold on tightly to what they are and what they know to be the truth about their reason for being.  If you have not yet made your peace with what you are on earth for at this particular time and place there is still hope for you while humanity exists and you still draw breath.  It has come to the point where the old ways of thinking about reality and how to manage in this life will not work.  Unless you can call upon the universe to guide you now you don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of navigating the turbulent waters.  I hope that you have learned how to listen to the higher source in the last two years of reading my blog.  If you still have not made that connection and are not able to hear the voice of creation on your own, know that if you are still coming here to read there is a way to make that universal connection and get where you need to be.  Please ask for help either through this venue or through another that you feel you can trust.  We are not dead until we are buried, and even though so many want you to ride to hell with them you do not have to follow them.  If others have wasted their life and are angry at you for it is their own downfall.  Whatever they take from you in their quest let them have it.  Nothing is worth the loss of the true you and what you were meant to have and be in this life. There are still people left who care and can help.
